How do I cancel my account?

There are several ways to cancel:

• 1. If you're using PayPal as your payment method here at Binnews, please be sure to cancel your subscription with PayPal to prevent future billing. The steps to do this are listed below:

 1. Click the History subtab.
 2. Choose the Subscriptions field from the Show dropdown menu.
 3. Check the From box and change the date back 2 years.
 4. Click Search.
 5. To view the details of a specific Subscription Creation, click Details in the Details column.
 6. At the bottom of this page, click Cancel Subscription.
 7. On the confirmation page, click Cancel Subscription again.

 

• 2. If you signed up with a credit card, make sure you have no ad blocker enabled, then continue... click the following link http://www.binnews.com/dreamhost and log into your account. Then click on "My Account". At the bottom, you will see a pulldown under "Your Subscriptions", chose your subscription and click view. You will then see a button "Cancel this subscription->" Click it to cancel your subscription.

Also, please drop us an email as we would like to know why you are canceling so we can continue to improve the site.

Can I have a refund?

Sorry, we do not offer refunds. It states what you are signing up for and that it is a recurring subscription. It says it in bold red during the signup process. You can cancel your account anytime and it will not renew again after you cancel.

How can I update my account?

There are several ways to update info:

Passwords

• 1. Goto My Binnews and click the 'Change Password' option. Once you change your pw, please allow 30 minutes for it to replicate around the site.

Credit Card Info

• 1. If you signed up with paypal, then you need to update your paypal account, it will automatically work for binnews.com then, but it may cancel all your subscriptions you have. This is something that paypal does when you update any billing info.

• 2. If you signed up with a credit card, click the following link http://www.binnews.com/dreamhost and log into your account. The only thing you can do here, is just ADD a new credit card. First cancel your existing subscription, once it runs out of time, then use the new credit card and purchase another plan (ie 1 month, 3 month.. etc..). Remember, you save money with the longer time accounts.

How would I upgrade my account to a different rate?

In order to upgrade, you must first cancel the subscription you have, and then purchase a new one. You will be able to use your existing user/pass. At checkout, just use your user/pass.

When signing up, whats with this 48 months?

Basically, if you sign up, you can cancel anytime and only be billed for what you use. The 48 month thing is just how long as it will rebill for unless you cancel it.

How do I change my password?

We have 2 possible ways to change your pw:

• 1. You can update it in 'My Binnews'
• 2. Send us your username, old pw, and your new pw and how you paid and we will do it for you.

I didn't cancel my account, paypal did...

Whenever you update billing information with paypal, they automatically cancel ALL subscriptions you had with everyone. The only thing, you should wait till the account stops working (fully expired) and then buy a new subscription and check out with your user/pass. Just because it says its canceled, that only means the renewing part is canceled. You still have access till the end of your term. Once your term ends, simply purchase a new subscription and you can use your old user/pass at checkout.

I signed up, but I can't log in?

Our site runs off of multiple password areas. We run a system sync every 15 minutes. Please wait 15 minutes, then try your account. Just remember, your user/pass is case SeNsItIvE.

I waited 15 minutes, and when I look at the order, it shows pending...

The order you placed did not complete. Every night we run a prune script to kill all pending orders/subscriptions. You will need to try to place the order again. Goto www.binnews.com/dreamhost and log in with your user/pass and pick a subscription, then check out.
