CVS Health has joined forces with the NAACP of Miami Dade and South Miami Dade to promote community-based vaccination opportunities in the Miami area.
On Friday (April 16), the organizations are launching a community registration event that will take place in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy location at 19800 NW 2nd Ave., Miami. The event will give community members "the opportunity to register for a vaccination appointment at one of the community clinic sites, ask questions about the vaccines and hear from CVS Health and NAACP leaders about the importance of being vaccinated," per a press release.
Starting April 19th, CVS Health will hold a series of community-based vaccination clinics in Miami "as part of the company’s overall effort to ensure equitable access to COVID-19 vaccinations, particularly among the Black and Hispanic communities."
