Mystery still surrounds Angel Reese's recent absence from the LSU women's basketball team.

During the Tigers' matchup against Texas Southern on Monday (November 20), Reese wasn't with the reigning national championship team for warm-ups, marking the second straight game she's been absent, per Fox News.

LSU coach Kim Mulkey again declined to disclose details about Reese's whereabouts during a post-game interview.

"Sometimes you want to know more than you're entitled to know. I'm going to protect my players. Always," Mulkey told reporters. "If you do some disciplining of your own children, do you think we're entitled to know that?"

Last week, Mulkey also shut down reporters probing her about the situation.

"It's very obvious Angel was not in uniform," the coach said. "Angel is a part of this basketball team, and we hope to see her sooner rather than later. I'm not gonna answer anymore. That's it. That's all y'all need to know."

Reese has posted cryptic messages surrounding her absence on her social media.

"Please don’t believe everything you read," Reese wrote on X on Sunday (November 19).

On Monday, Reese shared a clip of one of Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders' viral quotes.

"Look at me. What about me would make you think that I care about your opinion of me? Your opinion of me is not the opinion that I have of myself. You ain’t make me, so you can’t break me. You didn’t build me, so you can’t kill me," Sanders said in the video.
