Vivica A. Fox has weighed in on comments made by Taraji P. Henson about unequal pay for Black actors in Hollywood.

On Monday (January 8), Fox told TMZ that while she understands Henson's perspective, she hasn't had the same experience in the industry.

"To each his own. I'm very happy, very blessed. I didn't have that experience," Fox said when asked about Henson's comments on pay disparity and unfair work conditions for Black actors in Hollywood. "To get your peace out is important. I totally understand that I love my girls for looking out for each other."

Fox ended her comments on the matter with a resounding "I'm good."

Last month, Henson broke down over the possibility of quitting acting over the lack of fair pay while promoting her film The Color Purple.

“I’m just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do, [and] getting paid a fraction of the cost,” Henson said during a podcast interview that went viral. “I’m tired of hearing my sisters say the same thing over and over. You get tired. I hear people say ‘you work a lot!’ I have to. The math ain’t mathing. And when you start working a lot, you have a team. Big bills come with what we do, we don’t do this alone.”

Many of Henson's Hollywood colleagues showed their support for the actress and echoed her sentiments including Gabrielle Union and Keke Palmer.
