Whoever said "third times a charm" had yet to meet Ray J and Princess Love.
According to TMZ, the on-again-off-again couple is heading toward divorce yet again. Princess reportedly filed for divorce on Monday (February 26). The filing marks the fourth time Ray and Princess — who married in 2016 — have legally filed to dissolve their marriage.
As noted by TMZ, Ray J was the petitioner on their third divorce attempt, filing for divorce back in 2021. He also initiated their second divorce filing in late 2020, and Princess initially filed for divorce in Spring 2020.
Princess announced her latest filing on Instagram, writing, "It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce." She added, "After much reflection, discussion, and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways. We want to reassure you that this decision was made thoughtfully and with mutual respect and consideration for each other's well-being. While our relationship as spouses may be coming to an end, we remain committed to co-parenting our children and maintaining a positive and supportive family dynamic."
"We ask for your understanding, support, and respect for our privacy during this challenging time," she continued. "We are grateful for the love and friendship we have received from each of you throughout our marriage, and we hope to continue nurturing those relationships in the future."
Princess concluded her message by saying that the two look forward to "new beginnings that lie ahead."
