Damn! I feel some type of way. Rest in peace to comedian John Witherspoon. Of course many people know him as Pops from the role he starred in on "The Wayans Brothers." And let's not forget his role in the "Friday" franchise where he played Ice Cube's character's dad. According to Witherspoon's Twitter, his family tweeted out the actor and comedian passed away suddenly. He was 77. The statement reads, "It is with deep sadness we have to tweet this, but our husband & father John Witherspoon has passed away." Not only did he star in those roles, but he also voiced Grandpa on the "Boondocks", which is about to return soon and just the other day, I was catching up on "Black Jesus" where Witherspoon also had a major role. He will be missed. A few of his friends and costars even sent beautiful messages to the actor, such as Marlon Wayans and even Ice Cube.
