No Evidence Of Voter Fraud In Every State, Election Officials Say

Election officials in every American state reported no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election cycle, according to The Grio.

Despite President Donald Trump's frequent claims of voter fraud before and after the 2020 election, both Democrats and Republicans confirm the opposite, the New York Times (NYT) reported.

The newspaper reached out to election officials in every state, getting statements and conducting interviews. They found that officials nationwide report “remarkable success despite record turnout and the complications of a dangerous pandemic.” There have been reported issues this election, such as technical issues and a few instances of double voting. Election authorities noted that such problems are consistent with every election, but not enough to sway tens of thousands of votes.

“Many of the claims against the commonwealth have already been dismissed, and repeating these false attacks is reckless,” Jacklin Rhoads said, speaking on behalf of Josh Shapiro. Shapiro is the attorney general of battleground state Pennsylvania. Trump's campaign has filed seven lawsuits in the Keystone State and plans to file another suit in Michigan, another swing state. “No active lawsuit even alleges, and no evidence presented so far has shown, widespread problems,” Rhoads added.

“We have not seen any evidence of fraud or foul play in the actual administration of the election,” Jake Rollow, a spokesman for Michigan’s Democratic secretary of state, Jocelyn Benson, told NYT. “What we have seen is that it was smooth, transparent, secure and accurate.”

Last week, Republicans pushed back against Trump when he falsely claimed he won the election last Tuesday (November 3). President-elect Joe Biden secured the historic win alongside Vice President-elect Kamala Harris that weekend.
