Costco’s food court has always been a favorite with shoppers in the U.S. for its cheap hot dogs, pizza, chicken bakes, frozen yogurt, sandwiches and burgers. And while, Costco’s Australian outlets also offer a great menu, the Aussie tastes make for some very unusual differences between the two countries.
For example, the Australian hot dogs are 100% pork, not beef. And their burger? Firstly, they HAVE one...and it’s a southern style, battered chicken burger! Plus, most of Australia’s Costco warehouses are located in coastal cities and many of them offer tropical-style drinks like mango smoothies and bubble tea.
There’s even found a Costco in Sydney, Australia that offers an Aussie Meat Pie. The bottom line is that no matter which Costco you hit, you’ll find something to fill your belly...and for cheap!
