Nicki Minaj's husband is now facing a $20 million judgment after he didn't respond to the harassment lawsuit brought against him by the woman he was convicted of raping.

Jennifer Hough's attorney filed a lawsuit against the rapper and her husband Kenneth Petty, accusing the couple of harassment and witness intimidation over ongoing Petty's legal troubles stemming from his rape conviction.

Petty landed in hot water after failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California. As a result, Hough said the couple has continued to harass her and offered payments to retract her story.

By failing to respond to the lawsuit, the multi-million-dollar judgment was made.

According to The Daily Beast, the rapper and Petty has hired Judd Burstein to represent them in the case and asked for an extension to respond to the lawsuit.

Hough's attorney, Tyrone Blackburn told the outlet he declined to withdraw the petition for the $20 million judgment.

"I said no!," Blackburn told the outlet. "I told him to prepare his opposition to my request for default judgment and explain to the court why his client and her husband believer they're both above the law."

Nicki Minaj responded through her lawyer, claiming that the failure to respond to the lawsuit was a simple "mistake."

"My failure to respond to the complaint was the product of an innocent mistake, and I ask the court to excuse the delay so that I can defend what I believe to be an entirely frivolous case which plaintiff's counsel has brought against me in an effort to use my name to generate publicity for himself," Nicki said in the legal response.
