Law Roach says Zendaya and Tom Holland have not had an official wedding ceremony, despite months of speculation about the couple’s marital status.

Roach addressed the rumors Monday (September 14) while attending the 2026 Emmy Awards, telling PEOPLE that Zendaya and Holland have yet to have an official wedding ceremony.

“Well, I actually lied, she wasn’t married,” Roach said. “They actually haven’t had an official ceremony yet. It’s gonna happen after the Dune press tour.”

Roach’s latest comments reverse what he’s said about the couple for months. In March, he claimed Zendaya and Holland were married He doubled down in July, saying they had a private wedding and weren’t planning another ceremony, according to PEOPLE.

Holland fueled speculation in June when he discussed AI-generated images of his and Zendaya’s supposed wedding. He told Esquire that his family was “all there,” USA TODAY reported.

Adding to the confusion, a source previously told PEOPLE the couple hosted a private wedding reception at the Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey, England, on August 4.

“No, the wedding hasn’t happened,” Roach said Monday evening. “Not yet.”

The Project Runway judge then admitted he “could” be lying again.
