Michael Desronvil, the lone holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial, says the defendant’s attorney put his safety at risk by revealing details that could help people identify him after the jury deadlocked.

In an interview with Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany, Desronvil said he felt scared after defense attorney Kevin Reddington sought a court-authorized investigation into his conduct during jury deliberations, according to TMZ.

Desronvil said Reddington repeatedly referred to him as “he” while addressing the judge, which he believes helped people narrow down his identity. Desronvil was one of three men on the 12-person jury.

He also alleged that journalists showed up at his home after the tria, through his mail, and looked through his windows. According to Fox News, Desronvil said police escorted his fiancée to and from their home. He said he had not received any physical threats.

The dispute follows a September 4 mistrial in Clancy’s case after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict. Desronvil was the sole juror who opposed finding Clancy not criminally responsible for the deaths of her three children.

As BIN previously reported, Desronvil also believes his identity as a Black Republican may have contributed to the backlash he faced after the jury deadlock.

Reddington has questioned whether Desronvil answered his jury questionnaire truthfully and requested an examination of his phone records during deliberations. Desronvil has denied wrongdoing, telling Fox News, “I answered everything truthfully.”

Clancy has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to charges stemming from the January 2023 deaths of her three children. Her defense argued she was experiencing postpartum psychosis, while prosecutors maintained she knew what she was doing. Prosecutors have not announced whether they will retry the case.
