AJ Hoffman: "The Browns have no intention of signing Baker Mayfield to an extension this offseason. Baker's going to have to earn it this offseason, the fact that they're saying they'll look at all options...they're either looking at bringing in a high end backup, spending draft capital on a future quarterback, or they're gonna make a play for an Aaron Rodgers or a Russell Wilson type."
RJ Bell: "I think they want another year of data. You can make the case, that if you take out the injuries from this year, and then look at the year before...Baker in the 2nd half of the year was a top quarterback."

With the due date of a 5th year option pickup looming, it appears as though the Cleveland Browns are not 100% committed to Baker Mayfield in the long term. Listen to RJ Bell and AJ Hoffman talk about the situation and what might transpire as the Browns try to solve the position yet again.
