The Black Information Network is once again on the ground at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference, bringing you conversations with leaders and changemakers from across the country.
The 55th Annual Legislative Conference is taking place September 16-20 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
This year's gathering also comes as the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of leadership, service and progress.
Under the theme "Rooted, Ready & Rising," ALC 2026 honors the history that has shaped CBCF while looking ahead to the work still to come.
As the nation's leading public policy gathering focused on issues impacting Black Americans and the global Black community, ALC brings together thousands of lawmakers, thought leaders, advocates, professionals, students and changemakers for five days of conversations, networking and action.
More than 100 public policy forums and established brain trusts are scheduled throughout the conference, bringing leaders together to discuss some of the most pressing issues facing Black communities.
