The Black Information Network is proud to once again be part of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundations Annual Legislative Conference, taking place September 16–20, 2026, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

This year marks the 55th Annual Legislative Conference and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's 50th anniversary, celebrating five decades of leadership, service and progress. The theme of this year's conference is "Rooted, Ready & Rising," honoring the legacy that has shaped CBCF while looking ahead to the work still to come.

As the nation's leading public policy gathering focused on issues impacting Black Americans and the global Black community, ALC brings together thousands of lawmakers, thought leaders, advocates, professionals, students and changemakers for five days of conversations, networking and action.

The 2026 conference will feature more than 100 public policy forums addressing some of the most pressing issues facing Black communities, along with signature events including the National Town Hall, Day of Healing Prayer Breakfast, Gospel Extravaganza, Black Party and Phoenix Awards Dinner.

Throughout ALC 2026, the Black Information Network will bring you conversations with leaders and changemakers from across the conference, along with coverage of the issues, ideas and moments shaping the Black community.
