Everyone was disappointed when restaurants were closed due to the coronavirus pandemic but one family has made the most of it. Gary and Liz Paterson from Scotland have come up with a creative way of continuing to ‘eat out’ by making their own in home restaurant.
These parents told their children that if they did well on their home schooling they can eat at “The Teeny Tiny Restaurant.” Every Saturday the restaurant opens up with a different theme. Last Saturday it was the ‘McPaterson’s’ which was very similar to the well known fast food chain restaurant McDonald’s.
"The kids genuinely absolutely love it. The morning of the McPaterson's they came running through to the bedroom singing 'McPaterson's, McPaterson's, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Pizza Hut,’ said Gary to LADbible.
Future in home restaurants they plan to open include Willy Wonka’s Chocolate night, a Greek night, an Ocean Beach Club Apre’s Ski night and more.
