After news broke late Thursday evening (October 1) that President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for coronavirus, celebrities, political figures, and world leaders alike took to social media to react to the Trumps' diagnoses.
While many wished the President well, some noted the irony of Trump contracting COVID-19 given the fact that he has downplayed the virus almost since the pandemic began, and has additionally mocked people for wearing masks.
