Beyoncé The Beekeeper has a nice ring to it!
In Queen Bey fashion, Mrs. Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter is full of surprises. While her fans, the Bey Hive, take pride in knowing just about everything there is to know about their Queen Bey, Mrs. Carter still has her secrets — one being, she's an actual beekeeper.
In her candid cover story for the December issue of British Vogue, Beyoncé revealed the fun fact when asked what is something fans would find surprising about her. "I know it’s random, but I have two beehives. Real ones," she shared. "I’ve had them at my house for a while now. I have around 80,000 bees and we make hundreds of jars of honey a year. I started the beehives because my daughters, Blue and Rumi, both have terrible allergies, and honey has countless healing properties."
That's not all fans don't know about Bey. When asked is there anything the flawless Beyoncé can't do, Bey revealed she can be a bit forgetful when it comes to the little things. "I’m always losing my phone in my house or office, and I never know where my keys are," she admitted. "My phone is always dead. I get days and dates confused all the time, but guaranteed, I’ll remember every detail of a conversation, what you were wearing or how your hair was styled. It’s absolutely ridiculous."
Beyonce appears on not one, not two, but three stunning covers for the December issue of British Vogue.
Elsewhere in the cover story, Beyoncé opened up motherhood, the Black Lives Matter movement, quarantine, and more.
