Donald Trump Calls Out NBA & LeBron James: 'I Didn't Watch One Shot'

2020 NBA Finals - Game Six

Ever since the year 2016, Donald Trump & LeBron James have had their back & fourth ever since Donald Trump entered the White House.

The Lakers star famously called Trump a “bum” in 2017-18 when he was still on the Cleveland Cavs. LeBron was sticking up for Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, who said the Dubs weren’t going to the White House after winning the 2017 championship over the Cavs.

During Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania, the POTUS took a jab at James, the NBA and NFL for sports’ low TV ratings after players started kneeling during the national anthem. The crowd in Pennsylvania then started to chant, LeBron James sucks.”

In another tweet earlier that year, James said that Trump made hate "fashionable again" in the United States. James has not endorsed the Democratic Presidential nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden, but has pledged to fight voter suppression and encouraged registration and turnout efforts through an organization called "More Than A Vote."

James won his fourth NBA Finals and Finals MVP award when Los Angeles beat the Miami Heat 4-2.
