It's that time again -- Black Friday. The day where people rush stores and websites to get great deals in time for the holidays. But Black Friday is going to be much different this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. More people are opting to shop online rather than fight the crowds, especially when close groups are prime for spreading the novel virus.
Not only that, but heightened awareness around the Black community means more people are willing to shop at Black-owned businesses. We compiled a list of all the Black-owned businesses you can check out this Black Friday:
Culture Greetings -- Custom culturally-relevant greeting cards sent directly to recipients
Being Dapper -- Custom made men's apparel by designer JC Donaldson
Aurelia by Kandyce -- Cruelty-free make-up brand
The 125 Collection -- Candles with empowering messages
Still not enough options? Facebook has a website for #BuyBlack Friday, along with guides and products from Black entrepreneurs. Black Business Friday will also be happening on Black Friday, where you can shop a selection of online businesses owned by Black entrepreneurs. Don't forget to revisit these businesses on Cyber Monday, as well!
