Raiders' Trent Brown Wears Black Lives Matter Facemask

Indianapolis Colts v Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas offensive lineman Trent Brown made a pretty big statement on Sunday afternoon (December 13) using only his helmet.

When the Raiders took on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium, Brown showed off a special Black Lives Matter facemask that featured a raised fist in the center of the cage.

This season has not been the best for Brown on the football field. The high prized free agent from a year ago has only played three games this season. Brown signed a $66 million deal in the 2019 offseason.

Brown was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round out of Florida. He became a starter in 2016 and was then traded to the New England Patriots in 2018. He moved from right tackle to left tackle and helped the team win the Super Bowl. After the 2018 season, Brown signed a four-year, $66 million contract with the Raiders. At the end of the 2019 season, Brown was selected to play in his first Pro Bowl.
