FBI Offers $50,000 Reward For Information Regarding RNC And DNC Pipe Bombs

The fallout from the Capitol Hill riots continues. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has launched an investigation regarding the pipe bombs left near the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee headquarters. In exchange for valuable information, the FBI is offering a $50,000 reward.

Thus far, the FBI has posted a picture of a potential suspect holding an unidentified item. The unidentified person is wearing a gray hoodie, black gloves and black pants. However, the FBI has not provided any information about the figure in the photo.

In addition to searching for information about the pipe bombs, the FBI is also seeking information about the rioters who entered the Capitol.

"The violence and destruction of property at the U.S. Capitol building yesterday showed a blatant and appalling disregard for our institutions of government and the orderly administration of the democratic process. As we’ve said consistently, we do not tolerate violent agitators and extremists who use the guise of First Amendment-protected activity to incite violence and wreak havoc. Such behavior betrays the values of our democracy. Make no mistake: With our partners, we will hold accountable those who participated in yesterday’s siege of the Capitol," FBI Director Christopher Wray.

"Our agents and analysts have been hard at work through the night gathering evidence, sharing intelligence, and working with federal prosecutors to bring charges. Members of the public can help by providing tips, information, and videos of illegal activity. We are determined to find those responsible and ensure justice is served."

Thus far, no arrests have been made regarding the pipe bombs. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.
