Naomi Osaka Is The New Face Of Louis Vuitton

Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka is the latest addition to Louis Vuitton brand. Osaka will make her debut in the brand's upcoming campaign as their latest ambassador.

“Aside from tennis, my most treasured passion is fashion, and there is no brand more iconic than Louis Vuitton,” Osaka said.

“It is such an honor to work with Nicolas—he’s a designer I admire so much and we share a mutual love of Japanese culture and style. To become a global brand ambassador is truly a dream come true for me.”

Fashion is not a new field for the U.S. Open Champion. During New York Fashion Week, Osaka worked alongside the Japanese brand, ADEAM. While competing in the U.S. Open, she made headlines by wearing custom face masks honoring victims of police brutality. More recently, she was spotted wearing Louis Vuitton on the cover of Vogue.

“Naomi is an exceptional woman who represents her generation and is also a role model for everyone. Her career and convictions are inspiring. I am in awe of Naomi, she stays true to herself and doesn’t compromise on her values," Louis Vuitton Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière said.

Osaka will make her first appearance in the company's spring campaign. The first images of the campaign show Osaka rocking a spirited minidress. Heading into the spring, Osaka is looking to expand her brand from the tennis court to a fashion week in a city near you.
