Tessica Brown Finally Gets Gorilla Glue Out Of Hair After Surgery

Tessica Brown, the woman who posted about using Gorilla Glue spray on her hair and it subsequently being stuck in place for more than a month, has finally got the adhesive out.

Yesterday (February 10), Tessica arrived in Los Angeles to visit Beverly Hills surgeon, Dr. Michael Obeng

After a four-hour medical procedure, Brown was finally freed from this ordeal.

According to a report by TMZ, Dr. Obeng performed the $12,500 procedure for free.

The outlet obtained video of the procedure and Dr. Obeng’s miraculous solution for getting out the glue.

Apparently, Dr. Obeng followed the chemistry and combined medical grade adhesive remover, olive oil, aloe vera, and a splash of acetone to break down the bonds of the glue.

Brown was under some anesthesia during the procedure and after she came to, she got emotional when she realized she could run her fingers through her hair.

A few days before the procedure Tessica and her sister were able to use superglue remover to cut off her ponytail. Dr. Obeng was able to save quite a bit of her hair during the procedure.

As for what she plans to do with her hair next, Brown told TMZ she can’t wait to grow it back out. She also said she had prepared to have to wear wigs for the rest of her life, but after this miraculous procedure, it doesn’t seem like she’ll have to do that.
