Zlatan Ibrahimovic Doubles Down On Comments Made Towards LeBron James

Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to engage in a war of words with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. Ibrahimovic doubled down on his previous comments about James on Tuesday (March 2), saying "athletes should be athletes."

Last week, Ibrahimovic essentially told James to stick to sports. James replied to his statement shortly after, saying he would continue to fight for those without a platform. James also pointed out a story in 2018, in which Ibrahimovic talked about facing racism in this country.

Ibrahimovic fired back days later and basically reiterated his initial stance, according to Reuters:

Racism and politics are two different things. Athletes unite the world, politics divides it.
Everyone is welcome in our environment, it doesn't matter where you come from and we are doing everything to bring people together.
My message? Athletes should be athletes, politicians should be politicians.

Given that the Los Angeles Lakers are set to take on the Phoenix Suns tonight (March 2) in the battle of the West, James will likely be asked about Ibrahimovic's comments.
