Closing out the weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss anything and everything. During the sit-down conversation, Meghan Markle discussed her most recent pregnancy, relationship with her in-laws and much more. As the interview unfolded, Prince Harry joined his wife and Winfrey to add his two cents on everything that was said. In the end, the couple managed to provide insight into the Royal Family like few have ever done before. To tie everything together, here are a few important takeaways from last night's conversation between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting a girl.

Before diving into the more serious issues at hand, let's start off with a bit of good news. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed that they are expecting a girl. This summer, Archie Harrison will have a new sister to play with.

The Royal Family was worried about "how dark" Archie Harrison's skin might be.

Now, we move from the happier news to the less than stellar remarks regarding the Royal Family. During her conversation with Winfrey, Markle shared that there were conversations within the Royal Family about the skin color of her firstborn child. While she did not name any member of the family specifically, Markle said that her in-laws speculated about "how dark his skin might be." She also noted that the family denied him a title or the protection of the Royal Family,

"The idea of our son not being safe...the first member of color in this family, not being titled in the same way," she said.

Meghan Markle contemplated suicide.

One of the most heart-wrenching moments of the interview arrived when Markle revealed that she had contemplated suicide. She described in-detail how her mental health had suffered during her time around the Royal Family. When she asked to for medical assistance, she says she was denied professional help. However, a friend of Harry's mother did offer support as needed.

The couple faces ongoing security concerns.

After joining the interview, Prince Harry opened up about his issues with his family. The couple explained that they were forced out of Canada after the Royal Family cut their security detail. Given that the couple's address had been leaked, they sought to live somewhere else. In seeking a new place to live, Tyler Perry offered them a home in Georgia. By early 2020, Prince Harry was cut off financially from his family. Now, the couple has deals with Netflix and Spotify to help keep up their security detail.

Prince Harry has a strained relationship with his father and brother.

As the interview moved along, Prince Harry began to speak about his relationship with his father and his brother. He stated that while his relationship with his grandmother is strong, he is a bit disappointed by the support that he has received with his father. Prince Harry even noted that his father stopped taking his calls at one point.

"I feel really let down. Because he's been through something similar, he knows what pain feels like, and Archie's his grandson," he stated.
