Those who have not watched The Harder They Fall trailer starring Regina King, Jonathan Majors, Lakeith Stanfield, Delroy Lindo and Zazie Beetz are truly missing out. Thankfully, that will all change in just a few moments. Netflix's latest western flick will bring together the aforementioned stars as they chase down recently released deadly outlaw, Rufus, played by Idris Elba.
"When outlaw Nat Love discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck is being released from prison he rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge. Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Stagecoach Mary, his right and left-hand men — hot-tempered Bill Pickett and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth —and a surprising adversary-turned-ally," Netflix writes in the description of the film.
"Rufus Buck has his own fearsome crew, including 'Treacherous' Trudy Smith and Cherokee Bill, and they are not a group that knows how to lose."
The list of stars set to appear in the film doesn't end with Elba, King, Majors, Stanfield, Beetz and Lindo. In fact, that's just the beginning. Deon Cole, Damon Wayans Jr., Danielle Deadwyler, Edi Gathegi and R.J. Cyler will also star in the Jeymes Samuel-directed film. Not to mention, Netflix hints that there is a "red hot soundtrack" that will go along with the movie as well. The only downside to this film is that fans don't know when it is officially set to hit the streaming service. The streaming giant has simply said that is "coming soon" to both streaming and theaters.
