Nick Cannon has finally addressed his rapidly growing family.
While chatting with City Girls rapper JT during a recent interview, the entertainer made it very clear that his having four children in the last year has been no accident.
After JT suggested that Nick should wear a condom to prevent unintended pregnancies, saying, "Wrap it up and protect yourself," Nick responded, "I'm having these kids on purpose. I don't have no accident!"
"Trust me, there's a lot of people I could've gotten pregnant that I didn't," Nick added during the interview. "The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant. [...] You only live once."
On Sunday (July 4), the entertainer's rumored girlfriend model Alyssa Scott announced that she'd given birth to a son, Zen S. Cannon— his reported seventh child and fourth baby in less than a year.
Nick and Alyssa's baby news came six days after Nick and his ex-girlfriend Abby De La Rosa welcomed twins. On June 16, Abby announced their arrival on Instagram, captioning a video of her holding her boys: "✨JUNE 14TH, 2021 ✨ Welcome to the world Zion Mixolydian Cannon & ZIllion Heir Cannon #Myworld #twinboys."
Nick's latest arrival joins his six other children. In addition to his newborn twins, the Masked Singer host welcomed his fourth child — Powerful Queen — in December 2020 with Brittany Bell. The two also share a four-year-old son, Golden.
The Nickelodeon alum is additionally the father of 10-year-old twins — son Moroccan and daughter Monroe — whom he shares with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
