Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and Nicole Pantenburg have called it quits after seven years of marriage.
On Tuesday (July 13), the now-former couple announced their split in a joint statement to TMZ, saying "After much thought and with great sadness, we have decided to end our marriage."
"We continue to care and have respect for one another and share eternal love for our daughter and her well-being," the 62-year-old singer and 48-year-old actress added in their statement, referring to their 12-year-old daughter, Peyton Nicole. "We ask for personal privacy for ourselves and our daughter as we navigate these new steps as a family."
The pair did not state when they plan to legally separate or what led to their split.
Babyface and Nicole dated for seven years before tying the knot in 2014. The legendary songwriter and music producer was previously married to Tracey Edmonds from 1992 to 2005. The exes share two children, sons Brandon and Dylan.
