Exactly 16 years after Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Ida made landfall near Port Fourchon, Louisiana, on Sunday (August 29).

The category 4 Hurricane slammed the Gulf Coast with 150 mph winds, heavy rain, and flooding that damaged buildings, uprooted trees, caused 911 outages, and left a million people without power.
