Blue Ivy Carter has made history –– again.

The eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, made history at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 12) after “Brown Skin Girl” won the award for Best Cinematography. The nine-year-old is now the youngest winner in the award show’s history, sharing the award with her mom, and song collaborators Wizkid and SAINt JHN

The cinematographers for the music video, which was a part of Beyoncé’s Black Is King album and film, are Benoit Soler, Malik H. Sayeed, Mohammed Atta Ahmed, Santiago Gonzalez, and Ryan Helfant.

Prior to this history-making award, Blue was the youngest BET Award winner and the second-youngest Grammy Award-winner earlier this year.

Blue Ivy graces the track with her voice, singing the chorus at the end of the song. It’s not the first time she’s been featured on her music icon parents’ songs.

As an infant, she was featured on Jay-Z’s “Glory” and on Beyoncé’s song entitled “Blue” which was featured on the singer’s 2013 self-titled album. She also hit a freestyle on Jay’s bonus track of his 13th studio album 4:44

Other nominees in the category were Billie Eilish for “There I Am”, Foo Fighters (“Shame Shame”), Justin Bieber ft. Chance The Rapper (“Holy”), Lorde (“Solar Power”), and Lady Gaga (“911”).
