Former reality show host Donald Trump went "full racist" during a recent interview with Sean Hannity of FOX News. Among other things, Trump made a string of offensive and factually incorrect comments about Haitian migrants entering the U.S. this fall.

“I hear it’s 50 countries! They are emptying out their prisons into the United States,” Trump shouted, according to The Daily Beast.

“Their jails, some of the toughest people on earth are being dumped into the United States because they don’t want them. They don’t want to take care of them for the next 40 years!”

Trump and Hannity's conversation did not end there. After Trump delivered his initial thoughts, Hannity said that Haitian migrants should be required to show proof that they “won’t be a financial burden on the American people.” The FOX News host added that Haitian migrants should required to pass a COVID-19 test and undergo a "health check" before entering the United States. From there, Trump shifted the conversation from COVID-19 testing to a discussion about AIDS.

“Haiti has a tremendous AIDS problem. AIDS is a step beyond. AIDS is a real bad problem," Trump's rant continued.

“So hundreds of thousands of people are coming into our country and if you look at the stats and you look at the numbers, if you look at just – take a look at what’s happening in Haiti, a tremendous problem with AIDS. Many of those people will probably have AIDS and they’re coming into our country. We don’t do anything about it. We let everybody come in. It’s like a death wish, like a death wish for our country!”

This is not the first time that Trump has made comments regarding Haitian migrants seeking asylum in the U.S. amid political strife, economic turmoil and a string of natural disasters. Three weeks ago, he said that "murderers, drug dealers and criminals" were a "big part" of the groups heading to the border in search of asylum.

“The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our Country are pouring in by the millions. They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want,” he said, according to the New York Post.

“Our Country is rapidly becoming a cesspool of humanity. Murderers, drug dealers, and criminals of all shapes and sizes are a big part of this massive migration."

Despite his claims last month and this month, Trump has failed to provide verified evidence that many of the Haitian migrants entering the U.S. have AIDS or that many of them are criminals. Unfortunately, he has not been challenged to provide evidence to support his salacious claims.
