Antwain Fowler, the viral social media star known for asking "where we about to eat at?" has passed away at the age of 6, according to his official Instagram page.

Antwain's genuine, relatable questions and hilarious catchphrases captivated thousands online and rallied countless "social media aunties" together in rooting for him. Over the last several months, his mom, China, filmed her son in the hospital, keeping his followers updated on his health.

According to a GoFundMe page, Antwain has been fighting an autoimmune disease that inhibits the body's ability to absorb nutrition since 2015. "Antwain has been hospitalized a countless number of times," due to the condition, the fundraiser website says, adding that he's undergone 25 surgeries as a result.

"I tried hiding you from the world early on but couldn't you were meant to be seen," China wrote Instagram Monday (November 22). "My god I just cannot believe it this is unbelievable," she wrote in part, expressing the immense loss of her beloved baby.

"The pain in my heart is like no other, why God," she wrote on Instagram. "Never in a million years, My heart is out my chest."

Antwain is widely known for the viral video, that turned into a favorite Twitter reaction where he's asking his mother, "Where we about to eat at?" before sliding down into a car seat.

He also warmed our hearts when he got super close into a front-facing camera and asked, "Is that me?" over and over.

We send our deepest condolences to his mother and family during this time.
