'Proud Family' Reboot Announces 2nd Season With New Celebrity Guests

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is getting a second season and all new celebrity guests.

The Disney classic reboot will return to the Disney+ streaming service, according to an announcement obtained by Deadline. The news of a second season comes days ahead of its season finale on Wednesday (April 20). According to the outlet, production for the second season is already underway.

The Proud Family premiered on Disney in 2001, with audiences following Penny Proud, her family and loyal crew of friends before ending in 2005. A reboot of the series was first announced in 2020 with the first episode of the series' continuation launching on the streaming platform in February 2022.

The first season of the reboot saw celebrity guests like Lizzo, Billy Porter, Lil Nas X, Lena Waithe, and more. This second season will see Normani, Gabrielle Union, Leslie Odom Jr., Gabby Douglas, Holly Robinson Pete, Courtney B. Vance, and more.
