On Monday (April 25), the 23-time Grand Slam champion posted a video to Instagram that showed her and Olympia strutting their stuff in matching outfits, and getting down to TikTok's latest sound, Pharrell's "Just a Cloud Away."
The oh-so-cute clip begins with the twosome walking hand-in-hand in matching black dresses, black heels, and trendy handbags. The two then seamlessly transition into their matching PJs as they step into their fuzzy slippers. From there, Serena and Olympia are shown showing off their dance moves while laughing and smiling.
"Time to turn in, and turn up with my bestie 💁🏾♀️🙇🏽♀️," Serena captioned the clip.
Serena's cute post with her mini-me comes weeks after she opened up about her pregnancy and delivery experience in a personal essay for Elle.
"It's something people don't usually talk about because we're supposed to be in love from the first second," the tennis champ wrote, referring to how she never really got that special "connection" many speak about while pregnant with her daughter. "Yes, I was a lioness who would protect her baby at any cost, but I wasn't gushing over her. I kept waiting to feel like I knew her during pregnancy, but the feeling never came...I longed for it."
"When I finally saw her — and I just knew it was going to be a girl, that was one thing I knew about her before we even had it confirmed — I loved her right away," Serena continued. "It wasn't exactly instantaneous, but it was there, and from that seed, it grew. I couldn't stop staring at her, my Olympia."
