Police Looking For Help As NJ Black Woman Remains Missing After 44 Days

New Jersey police are still searching for Tanyatta Denby, a 34-year-old Black woman who was last seen over 40 days ago.

On Wednesday (October 12), the Millville Police Department provided details on Facebook of their ongoing search for Denby, who was once a resident of the city and has been missing for 44 days.

Denby was last seen around 8:30 a.m. on August 31 in Newark, wearing a brown knee-length dress and sandals, per the department's Facebook post. Police said she is 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 150 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Denby has multiple tattoos, according to police, including a rose on her left leg and letters on her chest.

The 34-year-old woman is known to frequent Atlantic City, New York City, and South Jersey.
