Naomi Campbell says it's never too late to become a mom.

In an Instagram post on Thursday (June 29), Campbell revealed that she has welcomed her second child, a baby boy, at age 53, per People.

"My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A True Gift from God, blessed! Welcome Babyboy. #mumoftwo," the supermodel wrote alongside a heartwarming photo of her holding the newborn. "It’s never too late to become a mother."

Campbell was 50 when she announced in May 2021 that she had welcomed her daughter and first child. While appearing on the cover of British Vogue last year, Campbell told the magazine she encourages her older friends to have children.

"I'm telling them all, do it! Don't hesitate!" she said.

The model previously said she has a "completely selfless" attitude when it comes to motherhood and doesn't take issue with the 50-year age gap between her and her daughter, who is now two years old.

"I always knew that one day I would be a mother, but it's the biggest joy I could ever imagine. I'm lucky to have her and I know that," Campbell said.
