Black soccer players on the U.S. Women's National Team are making their mark during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

On Saturday (July 22), the U.S. Women's National Team won 3-nil in a match against Vietnam. The team is now looking ahead to their match against the Netherlands on Thursday (July 27).

“The U.S. will certainly rely on the past World Cup winners to lead the charge but, if the team wants to make a real run, it’ll likely come down to the newcomers. On Friday night, they looked ready for the challenge, even with bigger ones ahead,” a Goal review of the match states.

As the team U.S.A comes closer to taking home the World Cup, here are the Black women who make up the roster, per 21Ninety.
