An Uber driver was caught on camera threatening to call the cops on a Black passenger and calling them a racial slur.

Abby Nicole shared a video on TikTok of the verbal altercation, which she said began when she asked her Uber driver to turn down the air conditioning in the car.

"I will call the police," the driver told the woman. When the woman questioned why he threatened to call authorities, the driver said it was "because I don't want you in my car."

"Because I asked you to turn the AC down?" she asked.

"That's part of the reason," the driver responded. "The other reason is you said come through the gate. All the gates are locked." After the woman informed the driver that there was a call button, he replied: "We're not going to discuss any further."

"Weird. It's giving racist. You're a racist," the woman said as she began to get out of the car.

That's when the driver called her the n-word.

"Yeah, it's because you're a n*****. Get out," he said.

"You heard me," he said after the woman asked him to repeat what he said.

"Cause I'm a what? Cause I'm a n*****?" she continued. "Cause you're acting like one," he replied.

In the caption of the video, Nicole added that her phone "cut off from recording because he then put his car in reverse and pushed the gas" while she was getting out of the vehicle. The woman claimed that the driver hit her with the vehicle while the car door was still open.

Social media users urged Uber to take action against the driver, who hasn't been identified.

"This man should not be driving for your company," one person commented.
