Jonathan Majors' assault case is moving to trial.

On Wednesday (October 25), a New York judge denied a motion to dismiss Majors' case after he was charged with assault and aggravated harassment in connection to a March dispute with his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, per CNN.

According to a complaint, Majors struck Jabari “about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear.”

The actor has denied the allegations against him and filed a counter-complaint against Jabbari, saying he was assaulted by her during the March dispute.

According to court files, an investigatory card for Jabbari was issued by New York police in June, however, the Manhattan District Attorney has no plans to prosecute her. The prosecution “informed Ms. Jabbari’s attorney that the People would decline to prosecute Ms. Jabbari if she were arrested,” court filings state.

The trial is expected to begin on November 29.
