A DoorDash driver was caught hurling racial slurs at a customer while dropping off an order in North Carolina.
In footage captured on a Ring doorbell, the driver dropped off a bag of food at someone's doorstep before saying "Here’s your s***, n*****. Come get it."
"Here n*****, n*****, n*****," she continued. Right before she left the residence, the driver repeatedly yelled "f*** you."
The incident reportedly occurred last week in Durham, North Carolina.
TikTok user adoree.brincess shared the Ring doorbell footage, captioning it "Experiencing a racist Door Dasher."
"@DoorDash this was definitely the most heartbreaking and worst experience I ever experienced with dealing with DoorDash and Lil Melanie count ya days," the TikTok user said.
The TikToker added she had never met or spoken with the driver who hurled racial slurs and insults.
DoorDash responded to the video, saying "We are absolutely appalled you had to deal with this experience!" In a statement, the company added: "Racism has absolutely no place in the DoorDash community. The individual’s behavior in this video is abhorrent, disgusting, and totally unacceptable, and we have permanently removed their account from our platform."
"Our team is in direct contact with the consumer to offer our support and help make things right," the company said.
