Former Good Morning America anchor Amy Robach is opening up about feeling "pressure" amid her romance with fellow ex-anchor T.J. Holmes.

On Tuesday's (January 23) episode of the couple's podcast, "Amy & T.J," Robach got emotional about the "pressure" of their careers, which she believes were "unfairly taken from them" when news of their relationship broke, per People.

“We've always worked together, but working with this kind of pressure over our heads is a whole other thing … that pressure is a lot,” Robach said.

Robach went on to clarify that the pressure she feels stems from their "taken" TV careers and not their relationship.

“I don't feel the pressure from the public to stay with you," she said. "But I feel the pressure of our careers that I believe were unfairly taken from us."

Amid the pressure and fallout of their careers, Robach said she has "chosen" to love Holmes.

“I know that I know you well enough and I've spent enough time with you and I knew how I felt," Robach said. "And love sometimes is a choice, when it's hard, it's not just a feeling. Lust is a feeling, but love is a choice I believe, and I have chosen to love you."

Robach also revealed that she wants to be back on screen with Holmes.

“I really want to be able to do what I love, and I want to be able to do it with you and that's more the pressure I feel,” Robach said.

She admitted that she would be "devasted" if their relationship turned sour.

“I would be devastated just personally because I want to be with you and I chose you,” the former anchor said.

Robach's comments come after the pair debuted their podcast on December 5. The date marked one year after ABC News President Kim Godwin told the two that they would be going on hiatus as news of their romance surfaced.

"Today is a special day. It’s almost apropos that we would have this podcast air on December 5th because December 5th last year, exactly one year ago today, was the day we were told not to come into work," Robach said during the debut episode.

"We never got a follow-up call to say come back," Holmes said with Robach adding, "That’s true. It was the opposite.”
