Two opposing women's basketball teams banded together after a player's wig fell off mid-game.

On Sunday (February 4), Ole Miss was facing off against South Carolina when Rebels player Marquesha Davis' wig flew off of her head as she hit the floor during the game.

Women from both teams immediately surrounded Davis to assist her in fixing her wig before the game continued.

Video of the incident went viral, and social media users praised the Ole Miss and South Carolina players for stopping the game to help out. South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley called out the viral moment, applauding both teams for acting as a "united front."

"This warms my heart! My @GamecockWBB babies met the moment with the kindness and understanding I see everyday. @OleMissWBB were all locked hands in a united front. This is WBB at its finest. Love this! WE ARE WBB!!!" Staley wrote on X.

Social media users pointed out how the cameras caught the moment when the players surrounded Davis in support, but quickly moved on to filming the crowd as she fixed her wig.

Following the wig slip, the game finished with the undefeated Gamecocks taking home the win 85-56.
