The 100 Black Men of Chicago (100BMC) will host its 23rd Annual College Scholarship Fair (CSF) on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of Illinois-Chicago’s Isadore and Sadie Dorin Forum, located at 725 W. Roosevelt Road.
The free event is open to students, parents, caregivers, teachers, counselors, and principals, with a special focus on high school juniors and seniors preparing for college. Freshmen and sophomores are also encouraged to attend, as it’s never too early to begin exploring higher education opportunities.
The CSF is one of the largest college access events in the region, bringing together more than 200 colleges and universities from across the country, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other leading institutions. Students will have the chance to meet directly with admissions representatives, learn about academic programs, and explore scholarship opportunities.
Since its inception, the fair has facilitated over $15 million in financial support for participating students. In past years, some attendees have even received on-the-spot scholarship offers or conditional college acceptances.
Founded as one of Chicagoland’s premier all-volunteer mentoring organizations, the 100 Black Men of Chicago is dedicated to transforming life outcomes for African American youth through a focus on education, economic development, mentoring, and health and wellness.
“Our College Scholarship Fair is not just about connecting students with colleges—it’s about creating pathways to brighter futures,” said a representative from 100BMC. “We want students to come prepared, dressed appropriately, and, if possible, bring transcripts and letters of recommendation. This is a real chance to make their college dreams a reality.”
