Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley are not supposed to fight until August 29, but they may not have gotten that message. Moments before the two boxers faced off in Cleveland, Ohio during a press conference, an altercation between members of Woodley's family and Paul's camp occurred. Video provided by DAZN Boxing shows a woman who appears to be Woodley's sister shouting at a man wearing an orange shirt that reads, "Team Paul." As the video goes on, Woodley's sister begins to explain that she feels that Paul's team has disrespected Woodley's mother. In the background, things continue to escalate as Woodley nears his sister and the man in the orange shirt. Fortunately, security is able to hold him back. Meanwhile, two other men that appear to be Woodley's brothers attempt to warn the man in the orange shirt to leave their mother alone. Over time, Woodley's mother appears and calms Woodley down while he and his team exit the ballroom.

After both parties appear to have left the ballroom, the interaction between Woodley and the man in the orange shirt continued. The former UFC champion appears to yell at a member of Paul's camp. In response, a member of Paul's camp attempts to explain that no one had said anything to Woodley's mother before, during or after the press conference.

Shortly after the tense encounters with Paul's camp, Woodley answered questions from the press. In a press gaggle, he promised to settle his dispute with Paul's team on Sunday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

“He doesn’t understand this lifestyle. I’ll shake this mother------- room in ways you’ve never seen before," he said.

The bout is set for Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on August 29 in Cleveland, Ohio. Boxing titlist Amanda Serrano and heavyweight contender Daniel DuBois will also be featured on the card as well. Not to mention, heavyweight champion Tyson Fury's younger brother, Tommy Fury, will be featured on the main event card. If both Fury and Paul emerge victorious on Sunday, they are rumored to fight in 2022.
