Courtney Clenney, the white OnlyFans model accused of stabbing her boyfriend Christian "Toby" Obumseli to death, was denied bond on Saturday (August 27).

A Miami-Dade County judge ordered Clenney, 26, back to her jail cell after she was extradited from Hawaii to South Florida, according to local news station WPLG. Her attorney, Frank Prieto, tried arguing that her second-degree murder charge should be downgraded to manslaughter, but Judge Jacqueline Woodward denied the bid.

Clenney, a social media star and OnlyFans model with over 2 million followers, was arrested four months after Obumseli was fatally stabbed inside the couple's high-rise Miami condo. Surveillance video also shows Clenney striking the 27-year-old Black man several times in an elevator two months before his death.

During the Saturday hearing, Prieto claims there was no probable cause for the second-degree murder charge,

“The detective also indicated there were no signs of bruising that were consistent with Miss Clenney,” he says. “I was at the homicide unit and I have photographs of her bruising.”

The lawyer previously claimed his client and Obumseli were involved in a "toxic" two-year relationship, and that she was acting in self-defense. Prieto says Clenney threw the knife after Obumseli allegedly pushed her to the ground. Prosecutors countered that claim with forensic evidence suggesting she stabbed him at close range.

“Miss Clenney, your attorneys are here and they’re fighting hard for you, but at this time, I’m not really the judge who should be making these decisions,” Woodward said, per WPLG. “It should be a judge who knows a little bit more about your case.”

Clenney is due back in court on Tuesday, September 6. She faces life in prison if convicted.
