Social media users are calling Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan's daughter the most valuable player of their play-in game after she seemingly psyched the Toronto Raptors out at the free-throw line.

On Wednesday (April 12) Diar DeRozan, DeRozan's daughter, distracted the Raptors with piercing screams every time they hit the free-throw line, per Bleacher Report.

The Raptors missed half of their 36 free throws, contributing to their 109-105 loss against the Bulls. Toronto entered the game averaging 78.4 percent at the free-throw line and only shot below 60 percent at one of their 82 regular-season games.

Following the Bulls' win, DeRozan addressed his daughter's distractions during a post-game interview.

“Man, I just seen it. She went viral. Man, I haven’t let it soak in yet,” DeRozan told reporters. “I kept hearing something during the game, and then it was one free throw, somebody missed and I looked back and I was like, ‘Damn, that’s my daughter screaming?’ I was just making sure she was alright, though.”

DeRozan said he almost didn't let his daughter attend the game because of school but she was "adamant about coming and support."

"I just said, ‘Alright, you can miss one day of school and come to a game.’ And I’m glad I did. I owe her some money for sure,” the Bulls star remarked.

The Bulls are slated to play at Miami on Friday (April 14) to battle for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

But DeRozan's good luck charm won't be in attendance.

“Na, she’s got to go back to school,” DeRozan said of his daughter.
