A Black employee in Missouri was fired after her white manager allegedly sent her a racist email calling her "dark meat" and a "braid queen."

According to a viral TikTok video, clerical business lead Michelle Snow accidentally sent the racist email to Tiffany Griffin, a Black employee of a company in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

"Dude, next time you guys hire DARK MEAT make sure she is not DUMB and NOT A BRAID QUEEN!!!!!" the alleged email reads in part. "Hope she is not out here when FALL COMES it gets dark pretty early, DON'T want her to run into [any] trouble."

It's unclear who the alleged message was intended for, but the narrator of the TikTok video suggested Snow meant to send it to the owners of the company, Janet and Jim Stone.

Griffin allegedly reported the message and was told that an internal investigation would be conducted into the incident. However, the employee was later fired while Snow allegedly faced no disciplinary action.

According to a follow-up TikTok video, Jim Stone claimed Griffin got into Snow's email and crafted the racist message to send to herself. Stone further alleged that Griffin made up the message to "scam" him for money.

"This is a girl that makes it impossible for a person of color to get a fair shake when they come in for an interview now," Stone allegedly said in audio provided in the video.

Though there is no video evidence of Griffin getting into Snow's email, Stone allegedly said the message was obviously fake. He claimed that he had no idea what some of the phrases included in the email meant, according to audio included in the TikTok video.
